• ### TOPIC 1 Vectors

Vectors is the basic prerequisite for learning electromagnetic field theory. It essential to learn fundamental rules governed by the vectors and its associated operations like addition and multiplication. This chapter explains basic difference between vectors and scalar quantities, parallelogram rule, head to tail rule, scalar product of two vectors, vector product of two vectors and its properties.

• ### Topic 2 Coordinate systems

This chapter explains about requirement of coordinate systems  and its transformations in the analysis of electromagnetic field theory and its fundamentals. It is prerequisite mathematical tool to understand electromagnetic field theory fundamental concepts. Without sufficient knowledge of the coordinate systems and its transformations it is difficult to understand electromagnetic fields.

• ### Topic 3 Energy and Potential

This chapter explains basic electrostatic concepts like electric charge, electric force , electric field intensity, energy , potential and potential difference and different types of charge distributions due to point, line,sheet charges..

• ### Topic 4 Electric flux density

This chapter explains the term Electric Flux Density and its fundamental concepts. this chapter also explain what is Guass law and its applications, this chapter trries to address the Guass law applications under symmetrical charge distribution conditions.
